Can I get my video featured on the site to promote my talents?

Yes. For $200, your video will go ahead of other entries on our vlog roll, and for $300 you can be featured on the contest page. Go to the advertising info page for more information.

Who can participate as a contestant?

Anyone. If you are under 18 years old, have a parent or guardian set up an account and post your video.

Is there prize money?

Yes. Half of all of the entry fees go to the contest winner.

How many videos can I post?

As much as you want.

As a contestant, can I vote?

Yes.

Does it cost me anything to be a contestant?

Only if you want to win cash prizes.

What happens in the event of a tie?

DiscoverMe2.com reserves the right to judge the contest to determine a winner.

Where does the money go?

1/2 goes to the contest winner and the other 1/2 goes to DiscoverMe2.com.

Can two or more people enter together?

Yes. Multi-member groups that enter together are considered to be a single entry, using a single account.

Are winners eligible to compete again ?

Yes. As many times as you want.

I'm already on a record label. Can I still upload my videos?

Yes. We welcome any artist looking to increase their exposure.

I am not a us resident. Can I still participate?

Yes.

Once I submit my work, does DiscoverMe2.com own the rights to it?

DiscoverMe2.com only retains the right to market and use your video .We do not own your song lyrics, film, etc. The artist maintains all rights to their work.

What is the policy on profanity?

We don't encourage profanity. With that being said, we do support an artist's freedom of expression and will allow responsible use of profanity for artistic purposes.

Do I have to pay tax on my winnings?

Yes, but that is up to you.
